Abenaki Wski is co-owned with Abenaki Acres in Stockton New Jersey, his intro breeding fee is set at $3,000.00. Wski will be at our farm from June 1st thru October 31st.

We took first place in every category we entered at the Empire Symposium in skein competitions again this year!

Hobby Horse of a Different Color took another blue ribbon in the Florida Alpaca Show on February 8th and also took first place in the fleece show in Syracuse NY at the Empire Symposium that same day!! Great job Spots winning two blue ribbons on the same day in 2 different places!

July 25, 2009 FROM SKIRTING TO PROCESSING TO MARKETING
A 3 part seminar, Wini Labrecque will be doing hands on skirting along side each person giving tips on skirting for show and skirting for processing, we will then be taking a step by step tour of the fiber mill and explaining each process with each machine with live demonstrations. The third part of the seminar will talk about marketing your yarn and products and will include a trip to the local farmers market to see our farm display. There will be a discussion forum including a question and answer time slot for each segment. More information will become available so keep checking back!

July 26, 2009 OPEN HOUSE
We will be hosting an open house for the public to see a fully operational Alpaca Farm complete with a fiber processing mill and farm store. Get your hands on animals, see the obstacle course in action and enjoy a summer day on the farm. Open to the public. No admission fee.
