Hobby Horse of a Different Color aka Spots.

Spots (hobby horse of a different color) now has 21 blue ribbons and 9 championships. Spots has begun his breeding career with an introductory breeding fee of $2,000.00 for the first 10 breedings. Spots is a CPeruvian Winchester son and his mother is a Black Epic daughter-talk about rock solid bloodlines!

Abenaki Wski

Wski is co-owned with Abenaki Acres in Stockton New Jersey, his intro breeding fee is set at $3,000.00. Wski will be at our farm from June 1st thru October 31st. Call either farm to schedule a breeding today.

Marathon’s Zarr

A beautiful and gentle MFI Logan son who has great confirmation and bloodlines. This males is ready to breed and awaiting your female. Special introductory fee of $1,500.00 for the first 10 breedings. His first cria is on the ground.

Marathon’s Mufasa

Mufasa is currently breeding and his first cria is on the ground-the owner is so happy with the fleece and confirmation she has decided to repeat the same breeding!.

His show schedule was cut short after slipping at the mall for the public to learn about alpacas. He has the most growth on the farm yearly!

Marathon’s Reuben

Ruben was one of the last crias born in 2006 for us so he was spoiled and it shows today, he wants to see what everyone is doing-very friendly and curious. He took second place at the Empire Extravaganza in 2007, but he is not consistent enough to be in our breeding program.

WHF Tootsie Roll

A mahagony red female bred to Abenaki's Wski.. Tootsie has given us a dark brown when bred to a dark brown, and a multi gray when bred to a gray. We are hoping for a mahogany this time around.

Silva of AYS

A gentle white female was part of our initial herd, has given us beautiful white females for 3 years in a row! She just delivered a beautiful female again! 

Siva was just purchased by Diana Klein of Walnut Valley Alpacas--Thank you and Congratulations Diana!

Wynona of AYS

Another female from our initial herd, a great mom, easy birther makes lots of milk, currently bred to Hobby Horse of a Different Color and is due next summer....Hobby Horse of a different color is a 9x Champion!

Aysen’s Mardi Gras

Our faithful gal, she is the best mom on the farm…she makes the best milk, one of the reasons we chose her was her ability to mother the whole gang.

Pixie Stix

This sweetheart is always been our PR girl, she is so gentle, our daughter used her as a yearling in the obstacle course and in the costume class. She is currently bred to Abenaki Wski, and due next summer Her mother is our Tootsie Roll.

Quinnie of Ays

Another one of our foundation herd girls, has given us beautiful jet black animals for the last 3 years. The only reason we are letting her go is we have her offspring to continue her lineage and are hoping they carry her wonderful traits for color and mothering. Quinnie is bred to Hobby Horse of a Different Color.

Marathon’s Pheobe

This gal is really hard for me to put on our sales list as she is one of my favorites. Her bone structure is wonderful.  She is a bigger girl and has delivered nice large crias with ease. She has let the males dominancy come thru for the three years that we have bred her.

Apricot Blush

Apricot Blush is another one of my favorites. Another big girl who has delivered very easily in the past. This year she gave us a 25lb boy with no problems! An easy breeder and a great mom, we hesitated about putting her on the sales list but decided she would make someone a wonderful female to add to their herd. She just delivered a 20 pound female unassisted again this year!  She will be rebred to Abenaki's Wski

Pine Ridge Cremello

A medium fawn female, very dense and great confirmation. She’s the one who stands out in the pasture with her grace. She has produced 3 wonderful males including Zarr, Danny and now Reliance. She will be rebred to Hobby Horse of a Different Color

MFI Peruvian Cressida

Cressida is a stunning white magical farm female, she has the stance and grace that you hope to see in any female alpaca when looking into the field.

Marathon’s Darby

Darby is a dark chocolate brown female that is a good producer, she breeds easily and delivers with ease. She is currently bred to Abenaki's Wski.  We are including in this sale her 2009 male cria sired by Duncan of Tartan Acres.

Harley of Ays

Harley is a dark brown/bay black female with a large bone structure, she has always delivered totally unassisted and very attentive and protective of her cria. She is bred to Abenaki's Wski.  Her male cria sired by Hobby Horse's Mr. T is by her side in this sale.

Marathon’s Mystical Lady

Mystical Lady was Jeff’s pick of the herd when we were picking out animals, she just stood in the field and watched us while we were checking out others and piqued Jeff’s curiosity, he wasn’t dissapointed. Mysti has a dense fleece and great confirmation. Her first cria was born last August and she delivered with ease and was just as attentive as we had hoped. She is rebred to Hobby Horse of a Different Color and due late next summer.. 

Marathon’s Melody

Melody was a suprise to me, when we were looking at alpacas Jeff really didnt like the suri’s, I wasn’t far behind him on that thought, they just didn’t look all warm and fuzzy like the rest of them, then when we were walking back from a pasture at one of the farms we were boarding at I saw Melody with the sun catching her locks as she was running across the field, it stopped me in my tracks, what a georgous animal!! A few weeks later her ARI was wrapped up in a package for my birthday!

Hobby Horse Winchester’s Jubilee

Hobby Horse Winchester's Jubilee…this girl wasn’t even on the sales list at Hobby Horse Farm when Jeff went out with CnL Paca farm to pick up their new herdsire Mr. T, but he was sunk and had to have her. Jeff and Shauna from Hobby Horse finally gave in and sold her to us, we are so excited to have this female, she is stunning with her fine, dense, crimpy fiber. She is as confirmationally correct as you could hope for. Jubilee will be bred this fall or next spring.

AMAF Livie Newton

Livie Newton is a indefinate gray female that took first place at the Western New York Alpaca show last summer. Another one of those confirmationally perfect and very proportionally correct females, she is also bred to Abenaki's Wski and is. For sale $12,000.00.

AMAF Pinky

Pinky is a tall white female with wonderful crimp. Her sire is MFI Peruvian Chasin, and her mother is my favorite gal, Pheobe. Pinky is very gentle and curious. We have decided to add Pinky and Sandra D to our sales list but really only want to sell one of them. Pinky is for sale for $12,000.00

AMAF Rizzo

If we put Rizzo on the sales list we would have a very upset 3 year old little girl. Our daughter Lily is convinced that Rizzo is "her" Alpaca. Rizzo and Lily went into the costume class at Empire last year dressed as little Bo Peep and her sheep. Lilly and Rizzo took a blue ribbon. Rizzo's sire is MFI Seabrook and she is following his fleece characteristics of the fine and crimpy fleece. We have bred Rizzo to Hobby Horse of a Different Color in June and are counting the months until we can see what a package that breeding creates.

AMAF Sandra D

She is another tall female with wonderful crimp. Sandra D has the same sire as Pinky MFI Peruvian Chasin and the same fleece characteristics. Sandra D is for sale for the same price as Pinky at $12,000.00. She is bred to Hobby Horse of a Different Color.

AMAF Danny

Danny is a beautiful animal with the classic alpaca confirmation and head that so many are looking for. Danny is a half brother to our herdsire Zarr. Danny is for sale $500.00 Danny took a 3rd out of 9 in the Virginia Classic alpaca show last fall..but he didn't make our breeding program.  Danny is for sale as a pet/fiber boy..

AMAF Kinicky

Kinicky is a dense, crimpy alpaca with a wonderful personality. When he took a first at the Virginia Classic last year he very patiently stood by us until we were called back into the ring for the championship, by the time the championship class was over it was time for Danny to go in to the ring so again Kinicky had to be patient and "hang out" with us, it didn't bother him at all. He is a very trusting male who would make someone a nice boy. kinicky is for sale for $500.00 as a pet/fiber boy.

AMAF Cataba

Cataba is our black female that was born the morning of National Alpaca Farm Day...what a crowd pleaser that was! We themed this years cria's on grapes as we live in the fingerlakes wine region, Cataba is a rich true black female.

AMAF Chardonnay

Chardonnay is a stunning white female born last fall. She is out of my favorite girl Pheobe and has great fleece growth. Her sire is Maple brooks Hijo.

AMAF Merlot

Merlot was born on our anniversary and we were in Virginia at the alpaca classic last fall when my mother called in a panic...Merlot's mother was in active labor and another alpaca was acting funny (starting labor). My mother has never been around animals but our neighbor CnL pacas came right over and oversaw the deliveries, no assistance was needed with the alpacas, just the moral support for my mother! when Merlot was born and Lisa dried him off she kept rubbing at his face trying to get a piece of placenta off his nose only it wasn't placenta...he has a small spot of gray right on his nose! Merlot is probably the most curious cria we had this year, he is always seeing what you are doing when in his pen, just wants to get close enough to get your attention. He is bay black and For Sale!.

AMAF Reliance

Reliance is a 1/2 brother to our herdsire Zarr and 1/2 brother to Danny. He is a darker color than his brothers being a bay black.  Reliance is now for sale

AMAF Sweet Seduction

Sweet Seduction, the second cria born on our anniversary, she is no other than exquisite, when she was born she was the color of a new penny. She has since lightened up some but not much and is just adorable with her black nose and black around her eyes. She is Nosey Merlot's partner is crime, if there's trouble to be found in the pen, those two are in on it!!

AMAF Reisling

Reisling is Jeff's favorite Mystical Lady's cria, she created a package with this boy. His herdsire is Khans Pride of Sunset Ridge. His fine fleece has shine that just doesn't quit.  Reisling took a blue ribbon at the PAOBA show in York PA last spring....we're gonna let him go as a pet/fiber male

AMAF Black Rose

Black Rose was born just 2 days prior to Cataba and it's really hard to tell them apart! They both are true black and both have the same crimpy fine fleece that we love to spin into yarn.

AMAF Zinfandel

Zinfandel was the last cria born on the farm last fall, but you'd never know it. That boy has spunk and is usually starting something with one of the other cria's. We should have named him "looking for trouble!" He is another boy that we are watching to see what he grows into.

AMAF Niagara

Niagara is my suri baby...Melody, his dam is bay black with copper highlights and his sire Gilligan is also bay black, so imagine my suprise when a light fawn cria was born! His luster and shine is amazing as is his personality. When halter breaking, we just put the halter on him and went for a walk, it was that easy!  We have watched Niagara's fleece and have decided that because his mom is the only other suri we have he's going on the sales list.
